Dr. Juras Ulbikas was a keynote speaker at the 3rd World Conference on Climate Change & Sustainability event held in Barcelona (Spain) on October 21-23, 2024 and delivered a presentation “Energy active living environment: challenges and technologies” at the Keynote Forum on October 22. In this event it was presented PROTECH visionarry approach on PV technology development without impact on natural environment transforming our existing infrastructure into Energy Active Living Environment by means of integrated PV and energy storage solutions. Attention was drawn to the development trends of the photovoltaic industry, integration opportunities, as well as the European legal environment and regulations, and the challenges associated with it. The presentation was followed by great interest and appreciated by the participants for its important environmental aspect.
