R&D Starter Projects No. 10-038-T-0309

The Applied Research Institute for Prospective Technologies (ProTech) is implementing a project aimed at improving the measurement methodologies and metrological validation of technical parameters of innovative solar modules (TopCon, IBC, HJT).

For almost 20 years, ProTech has been actively involved in EU projects, related to solar cell technologies development. One of the main activities is the measurement of solar module parameters at all stages of the production process. This measurements allow us to objectively asses technological improvements, module quality, durability, and compliance with certification requirements (according to IEC 60904-1:2020 and IEC 61215-2:2021 standards).

During the project, we are collecting data from the most advanced EU testing laboratories, calibrating module samples and working to ensure accuracy and comparability of measurements. In this way, we strengthen our competence and ability to provide reliable, metrologically validating services in the field of innovative solar module testing field.

This project will enable ProTech to offer metrologically validated module parameter services and become a highly competitive partner in EU projects, dedicated to the development of innovative solar module technologies, their application in various fields, and studies of their durability and cost-effectiveness.
